ANTENATAL CARE
My standard level of care during the antenatal period includes up to 10 antenatal visits for first-time parents and 7 visits for second or subsequent pregnancies, providing ongoing support throughout your pregnancy.
LABOUR & BIRTH
Home Birth
I come to your birth with all required equipment to support both you and your baby, including oxygen, resuscitation equipment, and emergency medications, ensuring preparedness for routine and unexpected situations.
Water Birth
Water birth is a common choice for homebirth, offering comfort and support during labour. A purpose-designed birthing pool is brought to your home, where it is inflated and filled in readiness for your birth.
POSTNATAL CARE
I provide postnatal care in the comfort of your home for six weeks following the birth of your baby. During this time, I support both you and your baby by monitoring your baby’s health and development, assisting with breastfeeding, and supporting your physical and emotional recovery after pregnancy and birth.
In the early postnatal period, I visit daily for the first four days after birth. Ongoing visits are typically scheduled at one week, two weeks, four weeks, and six weeks postpartum. This schedule is flexible and guided by your individual needs and circumstances visit frequency may be increased or reduced, and the length of each visit is tailored to ensure you receive the care and support you need.
Pricing
Midwifery Services Package
My total fee for midwifery services is $6,000, charged as a single, all-inclusive amount. This covers comprehensive antenatal, birth, and postnatal care throughout your pregnancy and postpartum period.
The fee includes all scheduled antenatal visits (up to 10 visits for first-time parents and 7 visits for second or subsequent pregnancies), as well as access to a birth pool and all associated equipment.
Payment plans are available.
Medicare Rebate
At this time, Medicare rebates are no longer available for this service.
Water Birth
Access to and use of the water birth pool is now included in the full lump sum fee, at no additional cost.
In Home Visits
In-home antenatal visits are included as part of the midwifery services package. Typically, this includes up to 10 antenatal visits for first-time parents and 7 visits for second- or subsequent-pregnancy parents.
If additional visits are required, these are provided at no extra cost.
