Midwifery Services Package
Total Midwifery Services: $5000
I charge a total fee of $5000 for my midwifery services. This is a lump sum and my fee of $5000 includes all of your antenatal, birth, and postnatal care. This is inclusive of all antenatal visits (10 antenatal visits for primip, 7 visits for second or subsequent pregnancies), access to birth pool, pregnancy library.
Payment plans are available.
Medicare Rebate
Medicare Rebate: $1600-$1800 (approx.)
I am registered as an endorsed midwife with APRA, which means you will receive approximately 1/4 of your fee back from medicare.
Medicare rebate in most cases will be paid in lump sum at 6-weeks postnatal (end of midwifery care services).
Water Birth
Water Birth Pool Costs: $150
I provide a birth pool inclusive in my midwifery services fee including birth pool, pump, and new liner. The hire costs for the pool and purchase of new liner are optional, you are also able to purchase a brand new pool for your own birth/supply your own otherwise if you prefer.
In Home Visits
In Home Visits: Cost incl. in Midwifery Services Package
On average I do 10 antenatal visits for primip, 7 antenatal visits for second or subsequent pregnancies. These visits are included in the midwifery services package. If further visits are required they will be charged at no additional fee.
